Meg's Bio

Hi, I am Meg.  I was born and raised in Nagoya Japan and moved to Southern California over twenty-seven years ago to attend California State University Fullerton majoring in Sociology.  But for some reasons I ended up with a career in a legal field after graduating and currently work as a paralegal for a workers’ compensation law firm beside teaching English which I love both of them.

I live with my 22-year-old college daughter who is pursuing her dream to become a 3-D video game character artist and two cats that you may see in a background sometimes during the class.  I also enjoy various types of physical activities starting with martial arts, yoga, surfing, skiing, and hiking by taking full advantage of the weather and location here.

In my class you are the main character and I want you to shine by talking without worrying about making mistakes as shyness is not an option.  There are no right or wrong answers to my questions as your opinion matters to me.

So just relax your shoulders and come join me as if you are going to have a  casual chat with your friend.  Looking forward to meeting you!

こんにちは、私はMegです。私は名古屋で生まれ育ち、２２年前に南カルフォルニアの州立Fullerton大学に社会学を勉強するために移り住みました。しかしどう言った訳か、卒業後は法律のキャリアに進み、今は労災専門の法律事務所でパラリーガルとして働いています。傍らでは英語を教えることも大好きです。

２２歳の大学生の娘と住んでおり、彼女は3-D ビデオゲームのキャラクターアーティストを目指しています。また時々皆さんも授業中に見かけることがある２匹の猫も飼っています。色々な運動もとても好きで、カルフォルニアの気候を生かし、武道やヨガ、サーフィン、ハイキングなどを楽しんでいます。

私の授業ではあなたが主役です。恥ずかしがったりせず、間違いを気にせず話して、輝いて欲しいのです。私の質問に正しいや間違った答えはありません。あなたの考えをただ知りたいのです。

リラックスして肩の力を抜いて、友達と話す感覚で私に会いに来てください。楽しみにしています！
