Many people take a daily multi-vitamin, but are they really necessary? Scientists agree that for most people, a vitamin supplement isn’t needed. Instead, we should focus on having healthy, well-balanced meals.
However, there are some vitamins you can take that will help you stay healthy. Vitamin D keeps your bones strong and isn’t in a lot of foods. Zinc can help you recover from a cold more quickly. Women who are pregnant or want to become pregnant can take folic acid.
