Online Shopping

Online shopping is a wonderful thing, but it does have its downsides. Online shopping started as a logical and convenient replacement for mail-order catalogues, but today it has replaced the high-street as our main source of almost everything. Toy stores, bookstores and music shops have closed down, replaced by e-commerce. This is good for the consumer, and wonderful for the owners of amazon and eBay, but bad for small businesses. Online shopping can be dangerous, as it’s easy to buy without thinking, to want without waiting, and to spend and spend. Money doesn’t seem real when it’s on your computer.
